From the RCB President

Dear RCB friends,

Thank you for being a friend of the Richardson Community Band.  We appreciate your support.  Our mission is to provide high quality musical entertainment to the community as well as musical experiences to the members of the organization.

The Richardson Community Band has provided high quality live musical performances for our community since 1970. We are an all-volunteer organization, and we receive no compensation for our participation.  As a matter of fact we pay dues yearly and depend on grants from the City of Richardson as well as corporate and individual donations. Our supporters help us cover our expenses, which include costs for rehearsal space, concerts, music, insurance, storage facility, sound equipment and percussion instruments.  If you are a contributor, we thank you for your continuing support.

Each season we perform 15 concerts:

– an interactive children’s concert

– four concerts at the Eisemann Center for the Performing Arts

– two at the Richardson Senior Center

– we open the holiday season at the City of Richardson’s Santa’s Village

– we are the featured performance at the City of Richardson Family 4th of July Celebration at Breckinridge Park

– four outdoor Summer Series concerts at Huffhines Park

– two Jazz concerts, featuring the RCBeboppers Jazz Band

We invite you to attend all our concerts.  The concerts are always FREE and are family friendly.

Your donations will help the band continue our mission of providing live musical entertainment to the Community.  The band is a 501C3 non-profit organization, and all donations are tax deductible.
